Due Date for 2022-2023 Pathways Step Completion

  • Fall 2022:  December 2
  • Spring 2023:  May 10

How to Remain in Good Standing with Pack Promise

  • Attend a mandatory orientation during the fall semester of first year
  • Meet your assigned Pack Promise Coach face-to-face twice in the fall semester of first year
  • Complete the FAFSA Renewal by March 1st
  • Remain enrolled as a full-time student each semester
  • Mark all required tasks as completed in Pathways Plan by end of the semester/year

Pathways How-To Guide

  1. Got to “go.ncsu.edu/epack”
  2. Click “student/alumni” as user type
  3. All NC State students have an ePack account. You must follow the log-in instructions to access your account if you have not set it up already. For problems with ePack, contact ncstate-epack@ncsu.edu.
  4. Once logged into ePack, go to the “Pathways & Other Resources” tab to the left.
  5. Then click “Pathways”
  6. There will be multiple pathways in your ePack account. To access your PACK PROMISE Pathway, click “Pack Promise Planning and Preparation” or for scholars who started at NC State in Fall 2021 then click on “Pack Promise Planning & Preparation 2021-22 Incoming Class”
  7. Click the question mark to the right of each activity to learn more about the requirements for the activity (you may be directed to click a link to go to another website to complete the requirement)

Notes:

  • If the pathways activity asks you to upload a document, you must upload a picture of the event, word document, resume, etc. 
  • If the activity is self-tracked, please check it off once completed
  • Pay special attention to what year and semester the activity falls under so you are completing your pathway at the appropriate pace.
  • Use pathways at your own pace, but ensure all required activities are checked off by the LAST DAY OF CLASS .
  • If you have any issues with Pathways, please email pack-promise@ncsu.edu with screenshots of your problem. For problems with ePack, contact ncstate-epack@ncsu.edu.

ePack can be used for many other things! Through ePACK, you can also:

  • Search and apply for internships and entry-level jobs
  • Schedule an appointment with a career counselor
  • Schedule on-campus interviews with employers
  • Find career fairs
  • Search for career-related events and activities

Download the ePack App:

  1. Go to your phone’s app store
  2. Search “Symplicity Jobs and Career” *it should be an icon with a briefcase and clouds in the background* and download the APP (it is FREE)
  3. Once the app is downloaded, select NC State as the University 
  4. From there, it should prompt you to enter your username and password

You cannot access Pathways via the Symplicity app but this is a good tool to use to search for jobs, career fairs etc.
